hi guys, could u tell me the draw backs of V model, one of
my friend told me that in V model regression testing is not
avialable and even test plan too, wat do u say? hope i will

V model is for both validation and verification...so
according to me test plans can be done...and development
and testing goes hand by hand .And there is no confusion
between developer and tester.it is good quality of
application.but drawback is it needs initial set up and
initial cost is high.

I don't understand how a formal SDLC like V-model will skip
Test Plan and besides Regression Testing. Thats a bullshit
idea...ur friend is stupid... Dont listen to him...
The only draw back in V model is its time consuming.

ur friend's answer is completely wrong, disadvantage of V
model is,development and testing dosn't go hand in hand so
overcome of that problem W model is there.

IN v-model sudden change in customer requirement is difficult to accept, because next phase will start after completion of its previous phase.
-interactive with customer in developing stage is not possible.
-time consuming and quality assurance process not quality guarantee process.
