I am holding B2 US visa,the reason which i got the visa was to attend a religious activity taking place, i could not attend that one. I have my visa valid for another 3 months. Can i go to US just for visiting purpose. What r the documents do i need to produce at immigration check.

I had applied for the US visitor visa from Calgary,Canada in Jan,2010. But my visa was rejected saying that I did not show them any bond with Canada and they doubted my returning back from US. The reason was as I did not have any property on Canada and no family in Canada as well. But I still have the same condition. I don't know why would they do that even though I am Permanent Resident in Canada. Should I try the visa again and from India my home country. Thankyou Manu
A week back I had applied for B2 visa, as my husband is there in US for a short business trip on B1 visa. But they rejected my visa on clause 214(b). Am thinking of applying again after a week more(After a gap of 15 days). But wondering how probable are my chances of getting the visa this time? Shud I wait for some more time? Hello, My name is Sam, i was refused the B2 visa today from the usa embassy in singapore. I am from africa and i'm currently on full scholarship in computing with all my fees and accomodation plus stipends paid for the duration of the course 3yrs from my government. I wanted to go to the usa and see my family friend for my upcoming 1 week vacation in august and what i mentioned above was suppose to be my ties to bring me back to singapore. i answered all the consul questions correctly and calmly and i had $4200 in my account for this trip. The consul asked how much i thought the whole trip would cost and i answered $2500 since i was going to stay with my family friend. He also asked me how i knew this my family friend. After that, he said he's sorry he cannot grant the visa because i have only stayed in singapore for 4months. I want to re apply but i need advice on what to do.. Please any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I had submitted applications to sponsor visitor Visa for my parents. During the application process, I had selected Hyderabad as the consulate. I want to schedule an interview in kannada and since my parents are residents of Karnataka, I am being asked to take up an interview at Chennai. Since my application confirmation lists Hyderabad as the selected consulate, Will there be a problem if the interview is taken in Chennai. Please advice. Thank you

Hello evryone.i recently got rejected for b2 visa.my brother's wedding is in june this year and i wanna attend it.my parents have their visas.me and my oder brother went for the interview.we both are medical students.my elder brother who is gettin married is on h1 visa.the VO asked us wen ws the last u saw ur brother.we said 5 yrs.my parents applied last year for attending my cousins wedding.the VO told us tht we r young and unemployed and she returned our passports.and handed over the 214(b) leter.now we have reapplied and have our interview in a week.any suggestions plz..cause we r very eager to attend our bro's wedding.how to convince the officer.
Hi I have applied for visitor visa to US to meet my brother who is employed there.I have a minor child and aged parents who will be accompanying me on the trip.My husband has issued an NOC duly signed by him.I am attending my visa interview next week.As my husband is a businessman who is constantly in outstation, he will not be accompanying me for the interview.I would like to know whether there is a possibility of getting visa and what questions are likely to be asked in the interview. Will my child also be questioned.
