1.New-when tester finds the defect 1st time it will be in
new status.
2.Open-when the TL finds it to be genuine defect/bug then he
makes it as open status.
3.Assign-the TL assign the bug to the developer to fix it if
he finds it to be genuine he ll fix it.
4.Test-after fixing the bug it is sent to tester to do
regression & retesting of that fixed/changed module.
5.verified-after testing it is been verified to no if any
bug still there.
6.Reject-if the developer think bug is not genuine and not
effecting the application then he will reject it.
7.Differed-if the bug is found and fixed in next release if
severity and priority is low /because of less time then it
turn out to be differed status.
8.duplicate-if same bug's r found then it is made as duplicate.
9.Closed-when the bug is fixed and tested if no further bug
is foung then it given as closed status

NEW- Whenever the defect is newly identified for the first
time then the testengineer will set the status as new.
OPEN-Whenever the developer accepts the defect then he will
set the status as open.
FIXED- whenever the developer rectifies the defect before
releasing the next build he will set the status fixed.
CLOSED-Whenever the next build is released the testers will
check whether the defects are properly rectified or not.if at all they feel defect is properly rectified then
they set status as close.
REOPEN- once the next build is released the testers will
check whether the defect is properly rectified or
not.if at all they feel derct is not rectified
properly then they will set status as reopen.
HOLD- Whenever the developer is confused to accept or reject
the defect then he will set the status as hold.
REJECT- whenever the developer feels it is not at all a
defect then he will set status as reject.
ASPERDESIGN- Whenever the developer feels the tester has
raised the defect without knowing the latest
requirements then he will set the status as
asperdesing.
DEFFERED- Whenever the defect is accepted by the developer
and he requires some extra time to rectify that
defect then he will set the status as deffered.

Open-Tester open the file for testing
Close-Tester close the file once testing is done with bug fixing
Fixed-Bugs are rectified
Reopen-After rectifation,tester again opens the file for testing
Rejected-If the Bug is too much and developer is unable to
fix it,then Tester rejects the job
