"c" form is given by the company to other company in the
other state to get the concessional rate of tax for the
purchasing of goods .C means concessional rate.

C-form is basically issued by the central govt to transfer
the goods from one state to another with concessional rate
i.e. 2% only. For example, A(in Delhi) purchase goods from
B(in Haryana), then A have an two options i.e. either
purchase @4% tax or purchase @2% tax. Normally to get the
tax advantage, A should purchase the goods against the C-
form.

C-form is a form issued by a customer to the supplier for a CST purchase @ 2%.when C-form is not produced then the supplier can charge same rate of tax as if in % within the state. C means consessional rate.

Ex: Mr A Registered Dealer in Hyderabad (AP) to purchased
goods from Mr B a registered dealer in Chennai.Mr B who is
selling the goods will charge VAT @ 4% or 12.5% on the
goods if Mr A issues him “C” Form then Mr B should Charge
him CST @ 2% so Mr A is SAving Tax

central tax used by c' form when any
businessman do the business interstate then he pay the tax
for central govt. only 2% which is very much reliable to do
the business interstate otherwise businessman will pay the
vat - 12.5%
