If developer will accept the defect it is called as a bug.
Deviation from the requirement is called defect.

The testing team find an mistake that is calld bug.
that bug is accpted by the developer then that bug is
called defect. if the developer is not accepting the bug
then it is not a defect.

BUG:- before release of a product ,if any error found den it
is called bug
DEFECT:- after release if any error found by the user.

Bug is a term used in production side that is by the tester
actually bus is manifestation of error in the s/w
and defect is a term used in non production side i.e by the
customer or user

when the application deviated from expected behaviour with
actual behaviour that is called bug.
there is no difference b/w bug ,defect,issue,token
those are all company terminology.

Error: The difference between expected result and actual result is error.
Bug: If that error comes at the time of development stage before production then it is bug.
Defect: If that error comes after production then we say it is defect.

Bug: " before fixing the eror can be called as a bug at low

From where should we start writing the test cases. Say suppose we have a pageA with few check boxes, radio buttons, links, some text in it and a link on pageA takes us to another pageB. Then from where should we start writing the test cases?Also suppose we have 10 links in a page should we write separate test cases for each link?
