SRS means nothing, but what you required to complete /
prepare something required some necessary things....this
type of document called as SRS.
for e.g. Company ABC provides insurance for students...for
this SRS like: insurance policy conditions in depth
(eligibility, limitations, etc.) some mandatory fields.
Based on those conditions you have to prepare test cases.

i think first u have to prepare the use case in case of
developer has send the use case for you.
By viewing the use case the tester shall prepare the
testcases

HI, TRM(Test Responsibility Matrix) and RTM(requirement Tracebility matrix) both are same??
how will you know whether your reported defect rejected?

Is Test report same as Bug report....? I have to give Test Report to the client for my Application ....and as it started all of sudden i did not make the test cases and started of testing .....The bug Tracker where i report the bugs has a facility to download the Bug reported in word or in excel format....It has the detailed description of "version" of appliation tested, whom assigned .., resolved , closed..then the steps to reproduce the bug and all...Is the documnet test report...
