Friends,while installing winrunner,after setup unknowingly
without generating license i opened winrunner.it didn't
work,then i uninstalled wr ,and again installed
properly ,generated license,opened winrunner .error
msg :TMP environemnt variable is set to invalid folder.it
must be set to valied folder.TMP is not a
directory ,Exiting........
so kindly suggest me the solution

As per my knowledge,you need to format that drive and do it
from scrach then it will work

Hi iam a begginer or rather new stsrter to QTP and strugling to start as i have to start writing the automated scripts for the existing manual testing could some one send me some tips ans tricks for a jump start. Any help is greatly appreciated
is there any winrunner function which will allow me to send my user defined message to the test result window. i mean to say is there something similar to msgbox(that we use in qtp)in wr? the wr function i want to know is other then report_msg and tl_step.
