There is no direct tcode to lock a client. the easiest way
to lock a client is
1. run tcode SE37
2. type function module name - SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT
3. enter the Client No.
4. execute the function module.

You can lock a client in three different ways,
1) You can use “tp -LOCKSYS SID=ECD client=120” command at
the OS Level as mentioned by Naveen.
2) You can use transaction SE37, enter the function module
SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT as suggested by Venu and ajaysahu.
3) You can also use the trasaction SCC4, but you need to
have SAP* or DDIC as the user while doing this, and check
the checkbox which says 'Lock due to client copy'.
Note:- Normally this checkbox is disabled, but when you
logon to the system with DDIC or with SAP*, this checkbox
is enabled...

What Gajendra has said is technically correct.If you delete
the entry in SCC4.Only the client entry from T000 table is
deleted.All the data from the database remains intact.The
users will not be able to logon the clent after this.When
you create the client again the client exists.

To lock or unlock client only in an in R/3 system.
1.go to SE37
2.SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT
3.SCCR_UNLOCK_CLIENT
Another Temporary process is
1.go to SCC4
2.go to DISPLAY CHANGE
3.now delete the client entry which ever client to you lock
4.save
Now Client is Lock for End User
If you want get back the client just re-enter the client number which you deleted
the client will be available again

The most easy way is longin though 000 ,
--> SCC4 --> select the client No -->
delete the client entry --> save.
If u want to Activate that client again
then just go throuth 000 -->
new client --> put the details of that client --> SAVE.
