In payroll, the employees pay is calculated for a certain
numbe of days like
Weekly
Bi Weekly
MOnthly etc.
Based on this the on a Fiscal calender can be divided into a
number of periods.
for Monthly there will be 12 peroiods
Biweekly there will be 24 periods.
In SAP payroll if you want to run the payroll for a period,
the payroll should be completed and exited for the previous
period.

pay roll periods describes the start date and end date
for that period payroll accounting to be calculated..
payroll periods are available in the table t549q.
start date end date
01.01.2008 31.01.2008

In Bi-Weekly remuneration doesnt it mean that an employee
is actually paid twice in a week .If yes, then the amount
of times the employee should actually be 104 times i.e[
52*2=104]. Isn't it .... correctme if i'm wrong.Thanks.
