sdlc contains 6 phases
1)initial or Req phase...out come doc is brs
2)Analysis Phase.....Feasability study,Tentative Planing
,Technology Selection,Req Analsys......outcome doc is Srs.
3)Design Phase...high level doc and low level doc is
prepared by drawing some diagrams like seq diagrams, flow and
object diagrams by using the UML.....the out come of the doc
is Techchinal design doc.
4)coding phase:by the TDD the dev will develop the actal
code..the outcome doc is source code doc.
5)Testing phase:brs or frs will reviewed .and understand
them...if not understand they will be preparing
clarification note and send the author of the brs
doc....once clarified they will take the test case template
and write down all the test cases...once the 1st build is
released they will execute the test cases ...defects ar
found while executing they report in the defect profile
template and send it to dev team for
rectification....process will continue untill the product is
defet free......the outome doc is quality prodt..
6)Delivary and maintanece phase:the delivary or the
installation engineer will deploy in the clients envirm...
some clients need for regular maintanece they appoint the
roles for that ....

1.) preliminary investigation(includes system is working slow, unable to manage, costly, or any security problem)
2.) feasibility study (feasible or not, problem is worth solving or not)
there are many types of feasibility study:-
a.) organisational/behavioral feasibility (behavior of employee for smooth functioning of system)
b.) economical feasibility (s/w and h/w cost)
c.) technical feasibility (flexible,secure,accurate,reliable)
d.) legal feasibility (all rules and regulations are followed)
e.) schedule feasibility (system finishes it's task on time)
3.)system investigation
4.)system analysis
5.)system design
a.) general design
b.) user interface design
c.) data design

There are only 5 Phases of SDLC
1. Planning Phase
2. Analysis Phase
3. Design Phase
4. Implementation Phase
5. Maintenance Phase
PLANNING PHASE
• Client identifies need of Software
• Business Requirement Specification (BRS) from
Client.
• Purchase Order/ Work Order/Proposal.
• Defines Scope or Boundary, Cost Benefits, Risk
Management Plan and Feasibility Study.
• Estimations on the Project.
ANALYSIS PHASE (Requirement)
• Study on Business Requirement Specifications (BRS).
• Create System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Create Functional Specifications (FS).
DESIGN PHASE
• Technical Documents
 Create System Design Specifications (SDS).
• High Level Design (Overview)
 Project Plan – For Client.
• Low Level Design
 Project Plan Internal - For Developer (Detailed
planning of each task).
IMPLEMENTATION PHASE
• Project Initiation.
• Development (Coding)
 Actual Coding, Code Review, Unit Testing, Smoke
Testing.
• Testing (Verification)
 Integration Testing: Quality Assurance (QA)
verifies functional, performance and reliability as per the
FS.
 Test Plan.
 System Testing (Test Cases).
 User Acceptance Test (UAT).
 Change Request (If Any).
 Bug Report.
 Build Release Note.
• Installation (Deployment)
 Deployment at Client Machine.
 Project Closure and Go Live.

You have 3 jars. Each jar has a label on it: white, black, or white&black. You have 3 sets of marbles: white, black, and white&black. One set is stored in one jar. The labels on the jars are guaranteed to be incorrect (i.e. white will not contain white). Which jar would you choose from to give you the best chances of identifying the which set of marbles in is in which jar?
Assignment A software house got a project to automate sales/purchase department of a furniture store. The store management is clearly transferred their requirements to the software house management. There is no chance of changing the requirements afterwards. Software house management use waterfall process model to make the project. Given is the progress flow of water-fall process model In waterfall process model, the deliverable (document) produced in one phase serves as an input to the next phase. Suppose you are a project manager who is leading this project. It is decided to work and complete the project using waterfall process model approach. You are required to develop a plan in which the key task is to decide the deliverable that should be built during and after completion of each phase. Also give a description or required contents that must be included in those deliverables. You are not supposed to make the complete project. All you are required to do is to make a Project plan. In that, you need to give a set of deliverables (documents) which according to you, should be developed in each of the phase (Requirements, Designing, implementation, Testing, Maintenance). Also provide contents which should be there in each deliverable. The contents should be clear and have brief explanation. Note:: There are one folder and one file in the attached folder. The file is named as Assignment 4 write-up which is your assignment write-up. The other folder named Project deliverables is the folder in which you are required to organize and place your deliverables. Name of the document/deliverable saved in each folder should be mentioned in the file named checklist (This file is placed in the “Project deliverables” folder) For Example If you produce a deliverable named Requirement Specification (RS) in the “Requirements” phase. You need to do following tasks 1) Finalize the RS contents 2) Save the file in sub-folder named Requirements 3) Write the name of this document in the checklist file under the heading Requirements. Similarly, you need to make and save deliverables of each phase. Not all phases contain one deliverable. There must be some phases having more than one deliverables. PLEASE SIR PRIVIDE ME THE CHECK LIST FOR GIVE SENERION ? CHECKLIST ARE: 1-Requirements 2- Designing 3- Implementation 4- Testing 5- Maintenance
