there are 3 types of job classes,depending on the importance of it you can define it accordingly.
A-hight priority
b-middle priority
c- low priority
and please go through the notes how this priorities are used ,they can be explained in simple but some times using them makes much better in finishing the task

A> Directly from t-code SM36
Or
B> go to CCMS--> JOBS --> Definition

we can schedule the jobs in SM36
high pri-A
medium pri-B
Low pri--C

Hi All,
To Define a Background job use T-code SM36.
By Default Job priority will be C.
We can change it to A(high),B(Medium),C(Low)
We then have Spool recipient Option and Target system option.
