In API synthesis using water as final purification steps,check the water content and in spec also will mention water content.but some of the api's usd solvents for purification purpose.these solvents pick up the moisture frm atmospear at purification time and some of apis having more hygroscopicity nature these two conditions will check moisture content.in spec will mentioned moisture content.water content and moisture content analysis is same.
