Answer / gckreddy

Due to in hplc we can take responce in Y-axis.but in ir we
can take trasnsmitance in y-axis, transmitance is inversly
praportional to responce(intensity)

why IR graph or spectra comes down ? Any reason..

Answer / ramyasarma

In HPLC we are taking absorbance on Y-AXIS in IR we are
taking transmittance on Y-axis, absorbance is inversly
proportional to transmittance so IR Spectra comes down

why IR graph or spectra comes down ? Any reason..

Answer / surinder kumar

As we measure Transmittance not Absorbance in IR Spectroscopy
so the spectra comes down while in other Spectroscopy we measure the aBSOBANCE against con. of the Substance
