Free goods can be of two types: Inclusive and Exclusive.
Inclusive: The ordered goods and free goods both involve
same material. i.e. giving free item of the same material
as ordered
Eg: For 10 cases 1 case free i.e. 9+1 9 are TAN and 1 is
free item TANN
Exclusive : Free goods can be additional quantity of the
ordered goods or giving different item as free goods
Eg: for 10 cases 1 free , 10 +1 i.e. additional 1 (not
included)

Free Goods Determination
free goods can be configured in SAP by following two methods--;;
1.Manually
2.Automatically
automatically have two types-:
- Exclusive
- Inclusive
We need to know more about Exclusive & Inclusive right..
Exclusive-: exclusive means order 10+1 free( charge 10)
Whenever you create the exclusive sales order..you order like 100 laptop they provide the 10 laptop free or anything alse.In this time like they charge 100 laptop price + 10 laptop free so u get total= 110 laptop.
Inclusive-: inclusive means order 10 in 1 free(charge 9)
Whenever you create the inclusive sales order..you order like 100 laptop they give you 10 laptop free.In this time like they charge 90 laptop price + 10 laptop free so u get total= 100 laptop.

Other than you free goods one can use inclusive and
exclusive for you number ranges and also condtion types and
pricing condtion . So you need to be more specific in
answering the quetion . If the question is on free goods
than the above answer holds true but if it is with respect
to condtions and pricing . then inclusive is the condtion
we give fro the system to identify that particular condtion
type thorugh requirement type only and if that doesnt get
identified then the system should throw an error
Exclusive condtion refers the system to pick up which ever
it requirement type it encounters frist while defeining
the condtion type it encounters for determination of
pricing proccedure
For number ranges we use iclusive for the defining the
particular number for system defined and the exclusive is
for user defeined . so you need to be more clear in
answering the question

I agree with the above reply once after creation of ur
condition record then u step into freegoods screen there in
Tab u find intially inclusive in that inclusive, once u
type material X one more coloum will be there
min ,for, from, unit of messure, max this u can see in that
after typing the material x if ur doing inclusive u have
maintain these column.
Ex:- In case of inclusive if ur selling 10 goods out of
which one goods going to be free (ie)the price going to
calculate only only for 9 goods one goods is absoloutely
free. But one condtion in inclusive the matrial should
remain same material there should not be any change in UOM.
Ex;- Incase of exclusive if u order 10goods extra u can
another matial with different UOM. 10 +1.
For all this the itemcategory going to be TANN.
