yes you can say role means authorization and user profile.

In corporate sector there are so many level of people
working in organisation. So according to their user profile
you have to give them access for their job profile. Which
you need to maintain through user menu .

what ever access you need to give that user you can assign
to the user menu.

Role is subject to use the restriction of transaction in
SAP. For example any one can create Purchase Requestion
(P.R) but only designate person from company will approved
those P.R.

Can One Sales office be assigned to multiple sales areas.If yes how.If not why.Thanks
