Milestone billing is nothing but ,the customer is billed
when a milestone is reached or achieved. Eg When you have
phases in projects you are billed according to the
completion of a phase.

Periodic billing is nothing but when billing happens at
regular time frames . Ex Billing done every month or on a
quaterly bases.

Bill plan is configured in SPRO. IMG...Sales and distribution...Billing....Billing Plan...
Bill plan is configured here and is assigned to Item Category.
While creating Sales Order there is Bill Plan tab at Line Item level.

Milestone billing means distributing the total amount to be billed over multiple billing

dates in the billing plan.
As each milestone is successfully reached, the customer is billed either a percentage of

the entire project cost or simply a pre-defined amount.

Periodic billing is used when you want to bill the customer at different points of time based on the periodicity or progress of the work

if i have a CRM in sales area, sales org,dis channel,division can i create a sales order for this customer.in sales area sales org,dis channel,division with out extending CRM for sales org,dis channel,division? if yes please explain.

What is your Team size? Please note that here Interviewer means the total persons/ headcount from all the modules? How to handle this question? Generally in a project whether big or medium size company how does a consultant know how much is the team size of all the modules altogether? Generally in a big company how much would be team size? Dear all, I have a problem about Rebate settlement.. I created agreement no. and I do the manual accrual and my account posting is: Dr. Rebate accrual 100 CR. Provision -100 Then I do the partial payment, the account posting is Cr. Customer -100 Dr. Rebate actual pay 100 Cr. Rebate accrual -100 Dr. Provision 100 but when I do the settlement, the account posting is Dr. Customer 100 Cr. Rebate actual pay -100 Cr. Rebate accrual -100 Dr. Provision 100 I want the account posting to be like when I do the partial payment. Could you please give me the advice where I make a wrong configuration. Thank you in advance.
