I had my H1-B visa interview today (29th October 2009), my
interview went well however i was sent back with my
passport and 221g form saying my title did not show up in
their system and as soon as it does i have to submit my
passport to get my visa stamped. Has anyone come a/c with
this kind of issue??

Hi,
It is not an big issue.The problem is with the pims
database.Ur petition has not been found by the consular
officer in his system.Once it is updated u again go for
stamping.Call embassy for the update

Where are you going to work in US?
My husband had to go to Switzerland for work for a week,and also get his H1b Stamping from there. Now the consulate there said it would take 3 weeks to process, do you think it would create a problem. They have also asked for his resume???? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE suggest....he's not stuck cos cant enter US...shuld he go back to india or stay in switzerland to process it???

Hi All, I got H1B in the year 2008 and i have been there for 5 months and had my SSN and DL and i didnt hold any paystrubs and due to market down fall i was back to india and now am i eligible to apply in the same cap or need to go through fresh H1B filing. Hi, I am a BCom Graduate from Bangalore University, passed outin the year 2000. I have had arrears in my subjects while studying right from 1st, 2nd & 3rd year and few subjects a single digit marks. Now I have around 11years of IT experience as IT Manager. Apparently, I have a chance to go to the USA on H1B Visa(yet to get the letter in hand). Now my question is will the US consulate reject my stamping just because I have failed mark sheets though I got it cleared later? Can someone answer?? Thanks
