It is not an big issue.The problem is with the pims
database.Ur petition has not been found by the consular
officer in his system.Once it is updated u again go for
stamping.Call embassy for the update

hi i have a valid H1B petition.(approved on oct 2010) It is approved for California location for a client A. Now i could not go for the client A since project is not available. I got project for client B in same california location but different city. I have filed fresh LCA now. after going to US my job involves frequent short travel to other states / cities for the support work. Can any one help me * Do i need to apply for fresh LCA if the client name changes & location ( changes within the state CA) * Can i travel to other states and cities for short term support work ( 2 weeks maximum ) * Possiblities of getting the visa in my case? I got H1B approval in 2009 quota. But I would like to give Visa interview in Jan 2011. So is it ok to give the interview after almost 1 year? If no, then what is the maximum time they allow for appearing the VISA interview after H1B approval?

I've planned to carry the following documents in my H1B interveiw on sep-18th. HDFC receipt, visa Interview letter, I797, I129, Offer Letter, Client agreement doc, all original certificates, all company offer letter and relieving orders, payslip. Could anyone please let me know whether this is sufficient or i have to carry anyother doc's.

Hi, Can anyone tell me about the H1B 2009 quota selection result. Have any of you received the selection receipt, if so till what time this will come. If rejected do they send back the petition filed immediately or it will take longer. And what is the duration to know whether you got selected for H1B. Guys any one Pl.throw some light on this. I had my H1-B visa interview today (29th October 2009), my interview went well however i was sent back with my passport and 221g form saying my title did not show up in their system and as soon as it does i have to submit my passport to get my visa stamped. Has anyone come a/c with this kind of issue??

I am going for H1B interview at Mumbai Consulate very soon so expecting prompt answer for my case. Here is my background: B1/B2 Valid till 2016 Company C Travelled on it L1B valid till 2011 Company B Never Travelled on it H1B Valid Petition till 2011 Company A Not Stamped yet. Going for it. 1. Is there any problem getting H1B stamped as I have not travelled on L1B? 2. Will my L1B cancelled, once H1B got stamped? 3. Is there any problem on H1B stamping, as H1B petition valid since 2008 and going for stamping now in 2010?

I was selected in h1b visa for 2008-2009. I got papers also. i need to go for stamping to mumbai in this month or next month. what type of questions can i expect there please reply me. and also any thing difficult will be faced there?

My certificates(10+2 onwards) are having the Surname of my parents mentioned but my Passport(which was made based on 10th certificate where even my name was without surname and I made it after changing my name adding the surname) is not having the surname of my parents mentioned. My question is, will it be a problem for me when I apply the H1B visa? I do have the US B1 visa. Now, If I change my passport for the correction, will I have to change anything else apart from the Passport as well? Please reply me on jp1985verma@yahoo.co.in
