No TDS has to be Deducted UPTO when the total payment
>20,000 if you start payment from April 2009 then you have
todeduct tax from the payment of august 2009@10.3%
4000*5=20000*10.3%=2060 TDS
For the M/o Sept.09 TDS Rs. 412
But from the M/O Oct.09 no E.Cess & Surcharge

TDS up to 20000 in FA in not deducted, but you amount is 4000 *12= 48000 so total TDS = 10%on 48000 = 4800
note: if you getting from April month your TDS is not deducted up to Aug month but (4000* 5= 20000) than in the month of sept. you TDS is on (20000 + 4000) @10% =2400 and than @ 10% on 4000 every month is deducted
