What is the salary of a bank PO and what about the allowances and incentives.Joining as scale-1 how much rank
we can go in 10 years? I m in S/W field and curently getting
around 30K monthly salary and my current project(Microsoft)
is a very long term project, so there is stability in my
position for next few years. I have to appear the Syndicate
bank PO interview also now trying to give IT officer scale-
II exams. But dont know anything abt bank salary and future
growth. So can u guys plz provide any information abt this
which may help others also in this Forum. Also banks r doing
strikes for Salary hikes, Right?

Hi friends, well i have not recieved any replies to my
quries, But from my friend circles(who were preparing for
govt sector jobs)they told me that bank po salary for 1st 6
month training would be 11,000 and after that around 18k-20k
for SBI. and future growth they dont know, only an
experienced guy can tell abt this.
20K is ok but if increses more then it would be nice becoz
in Metro cities cost of living is more.

Hi frns ! m an M com pg workin with a Share broking company for the last 3 yrs as sales manager,i was not having good views about the govt jobs but this recession has given me a lesson and also a big question mark as far as the job security is concerned in corporates.Now i wants to prepare for the Bank PO exams,so frns pls help me and send all relevnt materials which could help me in clearing this exam. M havin good knowledge about the banking,economy,share market ,mutual funds,Insurance,politics etc. i m not good at Maths but ready to work hard for that too. Thanks
The Interview process is going on for Syndicate Bank PO post.It is going to end on October 6th 2009.When the results will be released...What do they expect from 11978 candidates for the 1300 posts..The Interview was simple,only general questions were asked..I secured 88% in 10th,97% in 12th and 89% in Graduation..I belong to O.C. category and I am not working at present.The Interview for easy for me.What are the chances of my selection.
