when calculating for np% do i include interest or do i take it off..

Answer / Gaurav Gola

The NP% (Net Profit Percentage) is calculated as Net Profit divided by Total Sales. It does not include interest expenses or income. Interest is a financial charge or credit given at some rate of interest for borrowed money.
