Should The xerox copies which is to be attached with the
Biodata form at the time of interview (SBI CLERICAL - 2010)
be attested by a gazzetetd officer or can it be self attested.?

What are the main certificates to be deposited at the time of interview? I am working in pvt sector.
are these sufficient?
1)12th marklist and certificate
2)grad marklist and certificate
3)2 character certificates(1 from gazetted officer and other frm employer)
4)OBC certficate
5)Age proof
6)certificate for computer knowledge.

I can't give experience and service certificate.As,company provides it only when employee leaves the company.

Is there any more certificate required?
Please tell me.

overall selection in sbi clerically is mostly depend on
written exam. interview will no matter those who are
sufficiently high in the merit order. As All are getting
same marks. those who are facing interview after 12th
matters their written score.candidates are called on the
basis of roll no and not on the merit order. again sbi is
facing the problem whether to recruit BE And MBA or not
because all these candidates are definately high in the
merit order but they are leaving the job afetr taking
experience from the last experience of last recruitment.
dont worry another big recruitment will come soon. wait for

Hi everyone...... Sbi clerical interview will be easy if we
know about wat we had learned in our degree(s)......
questions relating to the projects will be asked.... and
general questions like our country wealth our states
governor like that few questions and they ask what we know
about sbi bank......
And some times they ask us to speak the languages we
mentioned in our bio data..
The panel questions us through the bio data which v have
furnished....

Hi all.. I faced my interview on 3rd may.. They dint ask
anything abt banking terms or related topics. i have done my
engineering degree in IT and i faced most of the questions
relating to this, ie, IT and why banking. questions were
from the subject. and some general knowledge qs like
1. where is the mughal gardens?
2. what is the name of the official residence of British
prime minister?
...

For SBI Clerical interview ,while filling the bio-data form,
the person who has issued conduct certificate should not act
as a referee for a candidate..
Both should be different. Otherwise they are telling us to
give another referee..

i finished my interview on 8th may....... they asked me these questions...... 1)tell me abt urself(I andwered for 2 mins) 2)difference between 2g and 3g(3g is faster than 2g)i forgot to answer that 3g has more bandwidth and it is circuit switched network 3)what is the uniqueness of 500 rupees note (that circle at corner for blind people , wen in light the colour of 500 changes) 4)what is the technology of atm(i dont know) 5)what are the different types of deposits(Recurring and fixed deposits) 6)what is recent hockey tournament going on(this also i dont know) 7)who is leading in recent world chess championship(anand wen i saw but later i dont know who was leading) 8)who is topper in recent IAS exams?(i didnt answer) 9)what u consider as ur life time achievement? the panel was very soft......so no tension...... I am currently working In Asian Paints as Officer In Presidents Office. My monthly remuneration is 15000+. I have been selected In SBI as a clerk. Their is confusion whether I should join or continue with my current job. In AP though they are paying more their are very negligible chances of growth because of the profile I hold. Right now I am 25 yrs old should I join SBI also can anyone let me know whether pay will increase after completion of probation period in the bank.

What will be the gross salary and net salary of newly appointed clerks in SBI after the revised pay which was signed on 27th april 2010. I am selected as a sorting assistant in RMS'T'Division,(Tiruchirapalli)Department of Posts,India(central government job) on 29th December 2009.
