What is a Scheduler?..

A Scheduler, or Scheduler Adapter, allows a service to be
performed at a prescribed interval.

Answer / shabir

It is an adapter which fires the services(jcd/Bp/Database)
at an given interval of time.

But alternatively we can run script for Scheduling.
