Friends,

The news that the result is coming on Monday is baseless. I
have confirmed this with the General manager of recruitment
Division, Chennai. He told me that the results are expected
in the second week of December only.

Please don't spread any rumor about the results as many
others would be put into trouble.

employees. As you said, a Bank job is a very respectable
job. And a tension-free job. Lets hope for the best.

We are still in the blue regarding the date at which the
final results will be published.. We have seen some pretty
nice guesses. But please leave that aside, and now is the
time to prepare nicely for the mains of the PO exam. Its
hardly 15 days for that exam. Let SBI declare the result
whenever they feel like.

Hello all,

plese can any of my friends update me about the latest
vacancies in SBI and date of final declaration of results??

As i am alone in mumbai i cant get any update from anywhere
here. Friends!! u r are my only source of information for

Hi Everyone

I dont know about the date of result but i can say that one
of my friend has told me that his friend is working in sbi
for the same post. He had said me that his friend has given
the same exam in the same month that is july and hi joined
sbi from january 2008 that means result jab bhi declare ho
but we will join from january 09 if we get selected.

Yaar ab to lagta hain yeh naukri mil jaye to bahut aacha
otherwise I have to struggle much because i am working in
mnc and we have no personal life. No much holidays no
working timings no independency. Pray to god for the best

Now I am giving some material on Clerical interview for the benefit of your good selves. SLR - Statutory liquidity ratio - 24% at present (RBI range25% - 40%) CRR - Cash reserve ratio - 5 % at present Repo rate - 4.75 % at present - It is the rate at which RBI lends money to Banks Reverse Repo Rate - 3.25% - It is the rate at which Banks park their funds with RBI Bank Rate - 6% at present - It is the rate at which RBI lends money to Banks Main difference between Repo rate and Bank rate is that Repo rate is the discounting offered by the RBI on the monetary bill hold by the Banks Savings Bank Rate - 3.5% for SBH & SBI Call money rate - 2.25% - 4.30% - It is the rate of interest charged by the banks for temporary borrows among banks Legar Tender Money - Currency issued by RBI Optional Money - Cheques, DDs, Bankers Cheques Plastic Money - Credit card, Debit card Credit card is ready made overdraft in e-form for buying good and services by the card holder within specified limits and according to terms and conditions of the issuer Bank without having any account. Debit card is e-Cheque which can be used within the limits of the credit in the account associated with it for financial transactions. Core Banking - Networking of Banks for providing any where any time Banking is called Core Banking Merchant Bank provides capital to firms in the form of shares rather than money. Investment Banks tend to provide investment to firms.
