This is Madhu, Congrats for clearing the interview

1. After completely filling the bio data form we should
take three copies. Finally we should have attested by
Gazetted officers or not.
2. I am producing experience certificate. we should
attested the xerox copy of it or not

i think you should attest the copies by gazettted officer
and also the xerox of the experience certificate.

u should be prepared with all hte xerox copies attested by
the Gazetted officer

needed or not u should be prepared with that.

hi this is sunil i had finished my interview on 16-10-2008
it was quite cool but i have sum querries as i entered in d
room the person who is checking d documents told me that i
m the first one who will appear for the interview coz my
rank is first i want to know what is d meaning of this rank
is there sumthing regarding the marks which we get in
written exam and one more question i would like to ask dat
dey asked me sum g.k. question like who is d chief minister
of harayana and by misfortune i forget it for sumtime being
does it affect my performence plzzzzzz clear my querries

By first rank i think u r the first one for the
session...they will give u an id card..the clerk also told
me that today in the afternoon session u r the first one..i
think so..

****HI ALL** I have been going through this blog for quite
long and most of the candidates post their experience and
most state questions regarding personal background, family
background etc....but what to they asked me about my present
job, salary, then only GK...am posting some of the questions..

1. the first question asked to me "what is 'Continental Drift'

2. which indian prime minister died in another country?

3. the first president of india?

4. what is reverse mortgage?

5. Name the information and broadcasting minister?

6. Name the states where the election is coming up?

7. den the other question comes, "what are the drawbacks of
the current examination process of our Universities?"

8. What is the present economic status of the country? (i
said we are having impact from the global crisis, then the
interviewer told me no, not that, not the stock market, the
overall economic status"

9. den what are mutual funds?

10. what is co-operative movement? whatz the relation btw
this and banking?

candidates will be sent appointment orders...

hii...all...the 4-digit number has nothing to do with the
rank or interview order...because my no is 2271..but my
friend has interview on 23 and his number is 1437....but
there is a relation with the rank to our priority during the
interview session...the top ranker in that session will be
given the id card with no 1 during the time of morning or
afternoon interview session..

have one doubt is it they have some cutoff marks for
interview. afterbeing gone so badly in interview have i got
any chance to select? how much marks for interview.i have

Hi, I hope the information which I posted earlier may be useful to your goodselves. Feel free to contact 9492038751 Now some information regarding bank clerical interview is as follows : First Bank in India is Bank of Hindustan & General Bank of India, but they are defunt now. The oldest bank that is functioning today also is State Bank of India. It was established in 1806 by then British East India Company as a private firm in Calcutta as "BANK OF CALCUTTA". Later, its name was changed as "BANK OF BENGAL". In continuation to this, other two precidency banks were established in India at Mumbai - BANK OF MUMBAI (1840), at Chennai - BANK OF MADRAS. In 1925 these three banks were merged into one and named as "IMPERIAL BANK OF INDIA" under the control of Reserve Bank of India(1935). But after Independance of India in 1955 as per SBI act 1955, it was changed as "STATE BANK OF INDIA" with independent under Government of India. In 1959, as per 1959 SBI(Subsidiary Banks) Act, Subsidiary banks were started. Today SBI and its Associate Banks have more than 16500 branches with 52 Foreign Branches. State Bank of Hyderabad has 1104 branches, State Bank of Patiala has 750 branches. Other Subsidiary Banks are State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Travancore, State Banke of Indore, State Bank of Bikener and Jaipur. Recently in 2008 State Bank of Sourashtra was merged with SBI as a policy decision. In the current it on the process to merge SBH and SBP into SBI. According to a survey, in coming 10 years there exists only 6 national banks against 27 banks we have today. Apart from this we have 31 private and 38 foreign banks in India. Today Banking definition not confining to providing financical services, it is also extending to offering Insurance services, Selling Mutual funds, stock market operation as Depository participants. May be in coming days, Banking industry going to sell products, payment of bills of all kind, fee of all examinations with low commission/without commission in addition to the above. hi,please help me..i have sbi clerical interview on 3rd may.iam confused abt biodata cum attestation form..we need attest the original form which sbi send to us...after attestation we hae to take 3 copies or we have to attest only on xerox copy of the form after filling(not on original)
