hi every1 congrats!!! and keep going i am AMRITRAJ THAPA ,
this would be my 4th bank interview this year i had
appeared for UNION BANK OF INDIA (CLERICAL 2007)interview
on 11/03/08 but was not selected ,then i appeared for
CORPORATION BANK (CLERICAL)on 12/09/08 results awaited
strong gut feeling that i would be selected for this
one .next i am supposed to appear again this time in UNION
BANL OF INDIA(CLERICAL 2008) as i was not selected last
time so i had challenged them that i will be back with a
BANG!! so here i am on 20/10/08 but the most imposrtantly
for you'll i going for state bank viva on 22/10/08 .
now the important part be well dressed ,nice hair cut ,well
combed,this adds up your personality agin G.K. has to be
good , you should have good knowledge of your subject in
which you graduated if you are form commerce be prepared
for the bouncers like CRR,REPO RATE , BANK
RATE ,INFLATION ,HOW TO CONTROL IT ,ATM, CREDIT
CARD ,PLASTIC MONEY,ALL ABOUT RBI, ABOUT STATE BANK OF
INDIA ,PREPARE YOURSELF FOR PERSONAL QUESTION LIKE YOUR
FAMILY BACKGROUND .**DONT GIVE ANY FALSE INFO IN YOUR
BIODATA AS THEY WILL ASK YOU THROUGH YOUR BIODATA.DONT BE
TENSED BE CALM AND COMPOSED AS THEY ARE HUMANS .ALL THE

you told that the salary for Clerks (Customer relation
officers i think) is just rs.7600/- .

Oh my god!!what they r thinking to giving such a small
salary?? We are fighting for this small amount . i m totally
frustrated.

only for this more than 25lacs people were fighted?? and
they are selecting 20,000 people from this. many of us are
getting double or even more than this amount.

What's the use if we are selected?? Please guys, forgive me
if i m blabbering even though i didnt selected for the post.

I cant tolerate rs.7600/ as a salary as take home with all
allowances. Is is enough in this world??

Please tell something good to condolence my heart.

Plz tarun . r u sure???????/ I heard that the probation
period will be of 6 months. is we are goigg to get 7600 rs
for 6 months or even after also.???

Dear Rajesh,
I m 100% sure about this.its nt only in probotion period and
As per the Advertisment given by SBI for the clerical post
in all the newspapers etc. it was clearly mentioned that
the pay scale is as below.
4410-215/3-5055-335/3-6060-470/4-7940-500/3-9440-560/4-
11680-970/1-12650-560/1-13210.
It means that first year your basic pay will be 4410 and
including allownces u will get 7600/- in hand.For the next
three years ur basic salary will b increased by 215 Rs per
year and thereafter 335 Rs and so on.

It is clearly mentioned in the advertisment.

Hi frnds...

I hav attended for sbi associates clerical (sbh) interview
recently. I am not selected but in waitlist.

Questions like president, primeminister etc...
Based on bio-data form about our hobbies, etc...
and based on the subjects in our graduation.

My subjects are maths, physics, computers.
Can any one suggest me wat type of questions can they ask
regarding science background.

Hi,whereas i know regarding the salary as mentioned in
advertisement it starts with Rs 4410 excluding allowances
but at the entry level we get around rs 8000.and the
increment mentioned therein is in months and not in the
year,else no onecan imagine getting 13000 after 15 years,and
the other thing is after 2 years approx,departmental exams
are held for promotions,so not to worry regarding salary,one
thing more if u check bank of baroda's clerical advt,it has
mentioned rs 4410 excluding allowances.
truly speaking i want to join it so that i can also continue
my professional studies which may give me other options in
the same bank.

This is for all who r worried abt salary.. i'm also worried
abt salary what it would be
According to 6th pay commision the entry level pay to all
central govt. employees will be more than rs 10000 that
means that a peon will get rs10000 and a clerk will get
obviously get more than that close to rs 12-13000 ..... that
is my opinion .
and as far as i know banks also come under central government

Happy to meet you . As we are computer graduates , few
questions will be shoot out from our field.

One of my friend's brother ( he is working in SBI) told
questions will be from Hardware and software in 50:50.

Possible questions are

What is new Operating system of Microsoft
Name some Operating Systems used
What is the Advantage of Linux
What technology is used mostly in networking
Tell about virus and name some antivirus programmes
About networking and server maintainence
What is the benefit of using LCD monitors
Who are the broadband service providers in India
Benefits of Laptop. About Desktop and its Components with
usage.
What is GPS

Also gather some details in Storage devices, Networking
Concepts( I think they didnt ask questions on Softwares )

Hi every body can any body clear one of my doubt. in advertisement they mentioned only 800 posts for andhra pradesh and Total ( including other states) it is 1200. but in sbh website it is published for 1270 for andhra pradesh.and the candidates of other states who selected for SBH other states like maharastra is in not available in that list. Hear is my doubt about 470 ( 1270-800).Also we unable to know who are in within 800 list and who are above 800 list. i hope everybody understand my qustion.i am in tenson .please help me....
