I have qualified in the sbi clerical test .Now my
interview is on 16-10-2008.So pls tell me what questions
are asked in the interview and tell me the reference book
for interview in sbi.

Jay, As far as I understood from the letter, you cant have
both the character certificates from gazetted officer. Out
of the 3options, u shud have character certificates(C.C.)
from two sourses....
So those who are not working should take two C.C., 1 from
gazetted officer and 1 from school/college whichever is
recent....

i think the number differs frm state to state...like mine
is 2161..n my interview is on 14th in Andheri (Maharashtra).

after consulting with an sbi officer i got this information
my interview is on 15 in varanasi my no is 2088. and
interview is not going to take place all days on all venue.
it depends on candidates avilbility. at particular place.
so frds what we will do with ranking dont diversify ur mind
please keep attn. on interview preperation. the boy having
20000th rank will get the same salary as 1st rank guy.

Hi guys, This is Shivani sharma from amritsar, i'm going
through this site from so many days and reading all the
views of u people its really very gd that we all r sharing
our weaknesses and strenghts through this site, i've all
passed my written test and mine interview is on 18 oct at
jalandhar. some applicants are saying that the 4-5 digit
number on our call letter can be our rank so let me tell u
one thing it is wrong b coz mine rank is 946 but i gave
this test first time in my life and my test was gd but not
that much good that i could score 946th rank so i think
this is a fake thing to think this.......... ok
guys.....and just workhard so see best......

this information with everybody. It should be easy for
everybody to remember it.
1.SBI is the largest commercial bank of India.
2.It was established in 1806.
3.Formerly it was known as "Bank of calcutta" in 1806.
4.After that it was known by "Bank of Bengal" in 1809.
5.In 1921 it was renamed by "Imperial bank of india".
6.Nationalisation of SBI was held in 1955.
7.Head office of SBI - Mumbai.
8.Chairman of SBI - Mr. O.P. BHATT.
9.Recently SBS was merged in SBI.
10.Now SBI has only 6 associates banks.
11.As per fortune 500 list SBI was ranked 380 from the rank
495 in 2007.
12.As per fortune 500 list following are the data for SBI

hello friends!I completed SBI asstes clerk intrvw on 25th may.I think i might have got less marks in written test.because I have written without any coaching.but I done the interview to the best I can.I am a Btech graduate.2008 passed out.Is there any possibility that i can be selected? Hi!All, I have been called for the SBI clerical grade interview. As for the documents I do not have the passing certificate of my Intermediate, and the final degree of Garduation at present, but have got the provisional certificate and the degree respectively, but I've got all the marksheets. Is there any problem if I carry the marksheets only for the interview, can I submit the final certificates later..?? Please help...

I have been selected for SBP but I have also had interviews in Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank. I am a bit confused whether to join or wait for other results to come out because according to the SBI advertisement selected candidates have to work in shifs if required and also travel if necessary. Can anybody tell me what is the notice period in SBP.
