Yes there is a verification of certificates again. Well, I
wont be joining until 15 days more but some of my friends
here at vijayawda were telling so. If you did not get any
letter just call the lho.

I am beginning to think they are just being overcautious.
Anyway it is their rules and we cant just say anything about it.

RECRUITMENT IN CLERICAL CADRE/ ASSISTANT (ACCOUNTS & CASH)



With reference to your application for an appointment in the Bank, attendance at the written test held on 6th/13th July 2008 and subsequent personal interview, we have pleasure to inform you that you are being considered for appointment in the Bank's service as Assistant (Accounts & Cash) in the Clerical Cadre in the State Bank of India in the pay scale of 4410-215/3-5055-
335/3-6060-470/4-7940-500/3-9440-560/4-11680-970/1-12650-560/1-13210 with such allowances as applicable to Award Staff under various rules/Awards/Settlements in force in the Bank from time to time subject to the following terms and conditions:-
(i) You will be on probation for a period of six months from the date of your reporting for
duty in the Bank. The probation period may be extended at the absolute discretion of the Bank if your work is not found satisfactory or is otherwise considered necessary by the Bank.
(ii) The Bank will be entitled to terminate your services during the period of probation, on
giving to you one month's notice, and without assigning any reason for termination. If
you desire to leave the service of the Bank during probationary period, it will be necessary
for you to give to the Bank 14 day's notice in writing, failing which an amount equivalent
to 14 day's pay will be deducted from your salary and wages.
(iii) You will be p tid during your probationary period by way of substantive salary, a sum of
Rs4410,per mensem plus the usual allowances, as permissible under the
Bank's Rule for performing various duties including those mentioned herein.
(iv) Should you be considered by the Bank at the end of the probationary period as suitable
for the position and you have to the satisfaction of the Bank, complied with all the terms
and conditions stipulated in this letter, if the reports of the concerned Referees/Police/
District Authorities regarding your character and antecedents are found satisfactory,
your appointment will then be confirmed otherwise it will be terminated without assigning
any reasons whatsoever. On confirmation you will be entitled to draw salary and
allowances as applicable to you and subject to the provisions ofvarious Awards as amended
by Bipartite Agreements between the Bank and the Employee's Union/Federation from
time to time. You will also be entitled to the usual benefits such as Gratuity as per Act
Provident Fund, Pension, Leave Fare Concession, Encashment of leave, Medical Facility
etc. as permissible under the Bank's rules from Lime to time.
(v) In the event of change in your religion, it will be i. ecessary for you to inform the Bank as
soon as the same takes place.
(vi) You shall give an undertaking to the Bank that you will be prepared to serve anywhere
in India, at any branch/office of the Bank at any time, should the exigency of service so
require and/or wherever required by the Bank and that the Bank shall be entitled not to
consider your application for transfer if made, to place of your choice atleast for a period
of three years from the date of your appointment within the Circle and 10 years for Inter-
Circle transfer.

(viii) You will also be required to work on. computers and key in all the vouchers in the system
and put through all transactions, feed/analyse/compile, type the data etc. in the computer without any special compensation/allowance.
(ix) You will be required to work at front desks at the branches as and when required by the
Bank in which case you will be entrusted with powers of paying cash upto Rs.40,000/-
and Rs.80,000/- for transfer transactions as a part of your duty. You will thus be responsible for accepting/paying cash alongwith the passing of cash/transfer transactions upto the limit mentioned above.
(x) The Bank reserves the right to change your designation at any time and may require you
to perform any other/additional duties as may be covered or otherwise by various
settlements between the Bank and the employees' Union/Federation.
(xi) You will have to sign a declaration of fidelity and secrecy and all other letters of
undertakings etc.
(xii) If you have served elsewhere, please arrange to furnish us a discharge/clearance from
the previous employer.
(xiii) Your appointment in the Bank is provisional and subject to verification of SC/ST/OBC
status (applicable only for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
(xiv) Please note that in the event of detection of any of the declarations, certificates/
testimonials being found incorrect/false or any of the facts are found concealed at a later
date or suppressed any material facts, this appointment shall be deemed invalid ab
initio and you will render yourself liable for disciplinary action including dismissal from Bank's service.
(xv) You are hereby required to report at our State Bank Learning Centre,
on- from
which date your appointment in the Bank will be effective. Please carry a copy of this
appointment letter while reporting there. After completion of one week training, you
will be permanently posted to branch/office.
OR
You are hereby required to report at our PBB MANGALABAG branch/ office
on 5/01/2009 from which date your appointmeitt 'n the B k will be effective.
2. Please acknowledge receipt of this letter and return to us the enclosed duplicate of this
letter duly signed by you in token of your having accepted the appointment as an Assistant in Clerical cadre on the terms and conditions stated above.

me.....u have to type a lot for us...:) thanks again..!!
and congrats...now u r going to join it on 5th but for us
they told that if u got letter then come on 5th otherwise
wait till 4th and then report us on 5th and then from 6th
Jan. u can join. if they will do like that then it is again
a future problem for us...everybody will join on 5th only
but we will join on 6th......so till now we are waiting for
that letter...!!! but everything is clear now..thanks..!!

I have just got a wonderful idea. I have got this blog in
blogspot which I am not updating regularly, so I was

clerks. There will be no restrictions of circles of any
