Hi All,
1st of all Thanks to Nitin.
As per me we can write no. of test cases on IE compatibility.
So, I have mentioned some points to write test case for
Internet Explorer compatibility testing.
1) GUI testing (Graphical user interface) in which whole
window functioning we can check.
A) Color combination
B) Font combination (size, color)
C) Capitalization, spell check
D) Appearance
E) Scrolling function check
F) Help should be meaningful, informative & complete
G) Tab controls
H) List box controls
I) Keyboard / mouse controls, etc
2)Functionality testing as per requirements
3)Check co-existence of IE with other softwares
4)Checking of user friendliness
5)Easy to install and uninstall
6)Easy recovery
7)Speed of processing
8)Checking whether IE is serviceable i.e.maintainable

Hi All,
1) Close the IE during the processing means while updating
the site to check that it should not hanged.
2) Open different tabs under the IE to check its processing
and efficiency and it should not hanged.
3) Install the IE on different OSs.
4) Check the settings which u have been saved once like Pop
UPs, auto cookies deletion at closing on it.
5) Check how the application run on IE if flash is not
installed.
Plz correct me if i am wrong..

Dear Rinu, i think every one have given you the answer who
need to understand testing first. Can you correct me where i
am wrong and if i am wrong then do let me know what will be
the actual test cases for IE.
