my husband is on h1b visa and brother is on h1b visa .my
husband told me to come on h4 visa but iam not interested
to stay in u.s .so my brother is sponsering me to come on
visiting visa so that i can convince my husband to return
back to india. will i get visiting visa.

You could apply for a tourist visa. The embassy might give
it to you because your husband is legally working in the US
on an H1B visa. However, an H4 visa(for dependents of H1B),
I believe is probably easier to obtain. It allows you to
stay in the US as long as your husband's visa is valid. All
my friends who had H1B visa's were able to bring their
spouses and children using the H4 visa without any trouble.

My friend in Nevada want me to visit him. He tried filing an affidavit of support at the Immigration and Naturalization Service there but the officer told him that I should be the one to process my visitor visa application with my own documents. Does it mean Affidavit of support or invitation letter is not a requirement for applying a Visitor Visa coming from the Philippines? and will the bank deposit of $1,100.00 enough for my 3 days stay in the USA because my friend will be responsible for all of my expenses including the airfare? Hi, I had submitted applications to sponsor visitor Visa for my parents. During the application process, I had selected Hyderabad as the consulate. I want to schedule an interview in kannada and since my parents are residents of Karnataka, I am being asked to take up an interview at Chennai.
