Whatever the tax paid on production that tax is called
excise duty. It is related with production. it is a revenue
of government. Presently the rate of Excise duty is 10.3%.

Excise Duty is an indirect tax leived by the government
at the time of removal of manufactured goods in India from
the factory premises under cover of invoice. The current
rate of Excise duty 5%(Basic Excise Duty), 2%(Edu-cess),
