while in windows 98 the file system is FAT32 but in windows 2000 or xp it will be both fat or ntfs file system

There are so many difference between win 98 & xp.As per as my technical knowledge some of them are
1)98 supports FAT file system wherever xp supports both NTFS & FAT file system.
2)Because of file system 98 doesn't support file compression,
quota management,security management.where xp supports all above.
3)when we attach any kind of hardware in 98 the host will want to restart,but xp configure it automatically ,no restart needed.
4)windows 98 has a 'default allocation unit' but in xp we can moderate it
5)it does not support hibernate & system restore facility where xp support it.

but the difference between 98/2000 and XP is that 98/2000
are numerics and xp is of characters.
