There is not such difference. only a difference when u talk about quality assurance and quality control. Because in some organisation testers are called and have different designations like QA analyst, Functional Tester, System Engineer but moreover their work is same. But when it comes to QA and QC there is a difference as one is the process oriented and the latter is Product oriented. QA makes sure the developed products meets the deliverables and is preventive approach whereas QC is reactive approach and it recognizes the defects.
