initial we prepare test cases in excel sheet after reviewed
test cases we uploaded in our tool(Rally) which is
automation.

actually it varies from company 2 company and also depends
on clients.

Not all companies use excel sheets...it varies...for
example within a company itself some may use excel sheets
others may use some tools Ex: Mercury Quality Center.....it
depends for which client they are working for.

Some clients want their test cases to be written in excel
sheets and some may not.....
