Hi all, i have installed QTP8.2 in my system. but script is
not generating while recording. What is the problem? is any
file missing? pls let me know anybody...Thnaks

When u click on "Record" button, it will asks two options
like "Select Appliction", "Any Application". May
be "Selected Application" radio button checked.

u better to install Operating System Windows 2000 or 2003
server only if u want to install QTP 8.2.If u want to
install QTP 9.0 or 9.2 OS may window sp and any other
operating system.

how do you parameterize search button from the website? the page is a single winobject and i have made a virtual object button of search button but search box can't be converted into a winedit and if we try to convert it into winedit the value we enter in a searchbox appears as numbers in the script so we arent able to parameterize.help!!!
