What is user-defined scalar function?..

Answer / Ashish Suman

"User-defined scalar functions (UDFs) in SQL Server are custom functions created by users that return a single value, a scalar value. They can be used to encapsulate complex logic and reuse it across multiple queries. The syntax for creating a UDF is CREATE FUNCTION followed by the function's definition and parameters.".
