What is the difference between couchdb and rdbms?..

CouchDB is a NoSQL database, while RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) is a traditional SQL-based system for managing structured data. CouchDB stores data in JSON format with flexible document structures, whereas RDBMS uses tables with fixed schemas and rows and columns. CouchDB also handles concurrent writes better than RDBMS.
