Differentiate between broadcast domain and collision domain

Differentiate between broadcast domain and collision domain..

Answer / Pushpendar Singh

A broadcast domain is a network partition where all devices receive every broadcast packet, while a collision domain is a portion of the network in which two or more devices compete for transmission medium at the same time. In other words, a single device sends and receives data within its own collision domain. The primary difference between them is that broadcast domains limit the scope of broadcast packets, whereas collision domains pertain to the physical layer, controlling how devices share the network media.
