What is difference between routing and routed protocols?..

Answer / Lucky Kaushik

Routing Protocols (such as OSPF, RIP, BGP) are used to exchange routing information among routers within a network, allowing them to build their own routing tables. Routed Protocols (such as IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP) are used to transmit data between hosts or networks and are run on top of the routing protocols.
