Explain interleaving?
Answer / Narendra Kashyap
Interleaving is a technique used in GSM to combat the effects of burst errors, which occur due to multipath propagation. Data bits are divided into smaller chunks (frames) and rearranged in a specific pattern before transmission. During reception, the bits are deinterleaved to recover the original data.
