I Installed loadrunner in my machine(personal PC) successfully. But when i am recording the script is not recording for the actions what i am executing. Can anyone explain what might be the problem for not recording the script.

I am facing the active Screen Problem in loadrunner.While runnning the script active screen pop up is dispalying, always asking for username and password.This popup having OK,Cancel and HELP buttons.After clicking any OK or CANCEL button , then only it is moving to next step.What can i do? I currently working on web based application. but in my company they want Load/Performance testing. plese tell me what i have to do?? i know Load runner but i have no real time exp on that! and In which areas i have to apply QTP??
