An index is reaching a limitation on the number of pages it has, can you explain why this limitation exists and what work you would do to get around it?
Answer / Rinki Yadav
The page limit for an index in IBM Informix exists due to memory constraints. When an index exceeds the allocated memory, performance issues occur. To work around this limitation, you can split large indexes into multiple smaller ones or use partitioning and sub-partitioning techniques.
