clouds to the earth and this protects the building grin the
destructive effect if the lighting.

a lighting conductor is use so that the builddings at great
heigts are not affected by the negative charges of the
clouds during a thunder strom.the charge is induced on the
pointed tips of the conductor if the lighting strikes, the
charge is conducted down into the earth by a thick metal rod
