cricket ball has more mass ..
force=mass * momentum
so it is difficult to catch a cricket than tennis ball. even
if both are in the same speed

We get more injured when we try to stop the cricket ball as the mass of the cricket ball is absolutely more and here force is equal to mass and a body always moves along with its mass

Imagine a case when u hit by a car n another case u hit by a lorry ,both with same velocities...defienently the damage is more in 1st case..its all about the mass of the body..cricket ball is much heavier than tennis ball also we need to consider the materials used.

Answer / kumar
suppose u r throwing lighter weight and heavier weight of
stone with same velocity. While stopping these two, u
required more opposing force for heavier weight stone. The
main reason is eventhough both are travelling with same
velocity, the weights are different. Sometime you can not
able to stop rubber ball with higher velocity. Here small
quanity is travelling with higher velocity.

Answer / phani
cricket ball is more denser or more specific gravity than
tennis ball. so force required to oppose the cricket ball
is greater than force required for tennis ball.
