Why it is more difficult to stop a cricket ball than a
tennis ball moving with same velocity ?
Answer Posted / kumar
suppose u r throwing lighter weight and heavier weight of
stone with same velocity. While stopping these two, u
required more opposing force for heavier weight stone. The
main reason is eventhough both are travelling with same
velocity, the weights are different. Sometime you can not
able to stop rubber ball with higher velocity. Here small
quanity is travelling with higher velocity.
