Let B be the number of boys, and S be the number of girls. We know that each boy has S sisters and each girl has 2B brothers. To ensure that each boy has as many sisters as brothers, we have the equation: B = S. Also, to ensure that each girl has twice as many brothers as sisters, we have the equation: 2B = 2S. From these two equations, we can solve for B and S: B = S = n, where n is any positive integer. However, since there are always more boys than girls in this family, we must have n > 1. For example, if n = 3, the number of brothers and sisters would be 3 boys and 2 girls.
