Let's assume that the initial volumes of both glasses are A ml (A = 100 ml). After pouring 50% of the orange juice into the apple juice, the amount of orange juice remaining in the orange juice glass is 50%, or 50 ml. The amount of apple juice in the apple juice glass becomes 50 + 50 (the initial volume) - 50 (poured into the orange juice glass) = 100 ml. After pouring the mixture back into the orange juice glass, it contains both juices in a 50/50 ratio again, so the amount of apple juice is now also 50 ml.
