Let F be the father's age at the time of marriage, M be the mother's age at the time of marriage, B be the baby's age, and W be the age difference between husband and wife (assumed to be constant over time). Initially, there were 5 family members: husband, wife, and three other family members. So F + M = 5W - 10 years. After 10 years, there are now 6 family members (husband, wife, baby, and three others) with the same average age as before. So (F+10+B)/6 = (F+M)/5. Solving these two equations gives B = 9W - 10.
