I am also facing the same problem, both my parents are retired & my dad retired last month, so how to answer, if they ask whether my dad is working or not , and what will be my source of funds, my parents are sponsoring me , plz answer my interview in next week.

don't show that your dad is retired.If you showed that VO
think----- due to your dad is retired then your income will
be idle .you just need to show amount of I20 for one year
..if your course if for four year then your need to show I20
amount X4 years with accommodation cost also ..

hello sir, m a pharmacy graduate from a normal college which hasnt got PCI approval yet since im the 1st batch member of that clg.... i hav an visa interview this month, is there any chance to get the visa rejected by this reason?? plz inform me.......

I got less in GRE 810 and ielts 5.5.My accademics are 60.23 with one backlog inter 72.8 ssc 69.5.So what reason should i give for my low gre .Actually i wrote gre exam after my engineering i am 2007 pass out.My english score in s.s.c. is 70 and in inter i got 57 and 64 in english first year and second year and my maths in s.s.c is 75 and in inter i got more than 138.What suitable reason i give if the visa officer ask for low GRE.?

Hi all, my F-1 visa request was rejected two years ago (December 2008) and now I will try for the second and last time on January 7,2011. Previously my brother, who lives in the U.S.A, was my sponsor but this time I'm self sponsored and changed my university. Last time the VO said "You are going to work with your brother" and rejected my visa. So the possible questions for my visa will be as follows and please give me some possible answers. Thank you! Hi frnds I got admission from US university but my Toefl score expired.... Now I took toefl exam again but this time I got 60 which is less.... Now wat I have to do?? Myself Rajkumar, These are the my credentials.... ---GRE-890----(Q-610)----(V-280) ---TOEFL-90 ---For Jan intake ---My background is Computer science. ---I had scored a 55% aggregate in my under graduation. ---and i had 30 backlogs.. --i got I-20 from three universities ---what is the suitable reason should i give at the visa counselor,i am thinking that the fallowing reason can satisfies them ------i was didn't put much hard work for the preparation for the exams but later i did and i succeded...... is that above reason will satisfies them,please help me out..................

Hi This is Karthik, recently i attended the f1 visa interview with toefl 109. They suspected me as i was not written toefl. May be it is right. and they took my passport and Toefl score card.
