I am also facing the same problem, both my parents are retired & my dad retired last month, so how to answer, if they ask whether my dad is working or not , and what will be my source of funds, my parents are sponsoring me , plz answer my interview in next week.

don't show that your dad is retired.If you showed that VO
think----- due to your dad is retired then your income will
be idle .you just need to show amount of I20 for one year
..if your course if for four year then your need to show I20
amount X4 years with accommodation cost also ..

hi guys. This is viswa on 18th i had face the f1b visa interview.but got rejected.I have one doubt i.e i had toefl score and I-20 and all documents even though result was negative.can u plz clear it for me gre is necessary ot for f1b visa.

Hello guys. I am going to have interview in US Embassy consular in our city. I have applied for MBA Programs in 6 schools and 3 of them accepted me. And now one of them is going to send me an I-20 next week. Currently, even if I am just a senior undergraduate student studying Computer Science, I am also a self employer who works with one of my friend in developing Software and Webpage. To tell you the truth, the reason I wanted to do my MBA is because I am eager to be a business man (just a self employer or latter a business owner). Even if I am just 22 years old, I have got the skills to communicate with people specially one to one in our mother language. So, I have the license from our government which shows I am a business owner. I have also a GPA of 3.4. since, the school didn’t ask me any kind of Tests , I didn’t take TOEFL or GMAT, but I scheduled GMAT for July 13 (which will be after my interview) My graduation date will be in August 5, i.e. I am going to the interview before I finish my class. To add another information, my father works for UN outside our home country, and he got paid a lot that will cover my overall expense. Hey gusy, even if I have all the true evidences I may be a little bit nervous at the interview. And I don’t want to lie any thing, because it will make me much nervous. So, what do you guys recommend me? As I told you I don’t want to lie (even if they asked me whether I have a relatives or not what I will say is yes because I have 2 uncles and 1 aunt there ). Do you guys recommend me to enter the Embassy after I took my GMAT test or when? Please guys tell me what real things to do to get the visa. Even if I am rejected I have a lot of plans here, except I am going to miss/broke up with my girlfriend who lives USA (in the state I applied). Thank you guys.

hi, i am permananent resident of usa i want to sponser my wife when i get my citizenship which is late 2011(apon advice of lawyer friend) my wife is coming to usa for education(f-1) only thing left in her student visa is her interview all her documents are complete she is coming for 4 year education program. only thing I am worried about is can they deny her visa based on that me(her husband) is in usa. I do know while she is studying in usa and i become citizen and sponser her she does not have to go back to her country even after her visa is expired. if they bring this point up in interview what could they ask and what should be best reply thank you very much

I HAVE APPLIED FOR US STUDENT VISA IN DECEMEBR 16. I GOT REJECTION. NOW I AM GOING TO APPLY SECOND TIME IN FEBRUARY. I completed MY BSC IN 1994 THAN I completed MLT IN 1995 SINCE THAN I RUN MY OWN LAB NOW I WANT TO EXPAND MY LAB SO I APPLY FOR MBA IN healthcare management in usa so study gap will effect on my visa conformation or what i said if vo ask me about study gap

I have applied to universities for spring 2010.as alraedy dec 2009 has sarted i am really worried about the visa. i have recived admit from 1 university but that was not my priority so i am waiting for another university to reply.but since i havent god ny answer from them i wann to wait.so i need to noe that what the chances that they clear me if i apply after mid december..are there any chances that they would reject on the basis that i am too late n all.the university is opening on 10-25 jan. please help me to know that what are my chnaces to get a visa if i apply fo visa in or aftre mid dec? are there ny rules that u cant apply after or before some time. as i need to apply for F-1 visa i cant apply without my i-20..please help me
