I have my Visa Interview on June5th... My dad is retired...
My I20 amount is $20,000 and I am showing the assets as
$66000 and $30000 Land. Will that be enough as my dad is
retired?? What should be my answer if the VO asks Ur dad is
retired then what will be his source of income?

don't show that your dad is retired.If you showed that VO
think----- due to your dad is retired then your income will
be idle .you just need to show amount of I20 for one year
..if your course if for four year then your need to show I20
amount X4 years with accommodation cost also ..

i have taken 6 1/2 yrs to complete my Bachelors in mechanical engineering with 56.5 % and 31 backlogs. GRE score of 1150 and TOEFL 100. I have sound knowledge though in mechanical design and CAD concepts which i plan to do MS in..?? Do i have any chance ti get an F1..? What would the V.O ask me..?? Dear Sir, For financial assistance can i take sponsorship from US green card holder(Relatives). It's take any nagitive impact for getting F-1 Visa. actually i applied for work study programme. for that university does not ask GRE and Tofel score. Only they ask english profession certificate from graduation. After completion of all aspects i got i-20,In Visa interview any change is there asking about my GRE and Tofel score and how can explain. Hi, I have a L1B filed by my employer which is valid till 10/10/10. I quit my employer few months back and the L1B is not valid. I am planning to take up Higher studies in US and apply for F1 Student visa. I am concerned that being in India, will I be able to apply for F1 with L1B valid till 10/10? I believe i need to cancel the L1B and I am wondering how to proceed with the cancellation. Please advise!
