 as per my knowledge,

journal voucher used for:-

1)to make adjustment between to ledger DR & CR balance
example depreciation on assets  
2)to make entry of due transaction for example any bill received but not payed will be booked in journal voucher
3)purchase of assets recorded by jv  

IN OUR COMPANY I GOT TELEPHONE BILL IN WHICH TELEPHONE COMPANY HAS CHARGE SERVICE TAX . WHAT ABOUT THESE SERVICE TAX. IS I HAVE TO FILE RETURN FOR THESE.
